Why do I want a Page's Performance Poodle? The Page Poodle Difference
Hi, I'm Page Hinds-Athan of Page's Performance Poodles. I am an AKC standard poodle breeder with over 30 years experience in horse and dog breeding. I am located in Roswell Georgia and breed quality pedigreed standard poodles. Of course all my adult poodles are AKC registered and have been certified and cleared of known poodle gene and health defects. In my breeding program I accentuate dogs that are physically sturdy and well rounded with flexible temperament and keen physical athletic capabilities. This makes for a great pet-wise / performance-wise combination.
Although many people commonly associate the poodle as a dog more suited for the breed show ring than anything else, historically, the poodle was originally bred as a retriever and water dog. This required good stamina, fitness and athleticism. Preserving the poodle's historical characteristics are integral to my breeding. I want my dogs to be enjoyed not only as great house pets but also because they are well suited for and skillful at the many available companion sports such as agility, rally, obedience, tracking and even herding and field hunting. In short, my breeding is about poodles that are of superior conformation (a breed show ring requirement) and superior performance potential.
My puppies are born and raised in my home, not a kennel. Daily, they are given much love and care and come to you well socialized and emotionally balances for years of enjoyment and fun that you both deserve.
